Right, my OEM SatNav is pants to say the least! It's still on a 2007 disc, but regardless, it will still make some shocking decisions on which way it thinks is best!

What alternatives do I have? I am thinking of getting my TomTom and sticking it in front of the screen as I can 100% rely on that

That's your only alternative really. Or, when it's saying something you don't agree with, go the way you think is best and only use the sat nav when you don't know the way.
