About two weeks into the purchase of my 1st RRS! Quite a young owner also being 21, but so far very happy with the buy! 2006 TDV6 Autobiograhpy in Java Black, privacy glass, chrome all round with the 22"s. also has all the added extras! So far feels like a cracking buy. - But just have one or two questions for more knowledgable members than myself.

1) Yesterday I've noticed that my parking sensor light on the centre console just flashes and wont actually provided any assistance when parking (just beeps a loud pitch tone) So wondering if that means one of my sensors have gone? It's worked up until now.

2) I might be looking to change one or bits around the RR, I've noticed on the newer models that the rear lights are more like LED circles, and also I prefer the front grille on different maybe even newer models - Will these be likely to fit mine?

Any support would be very helpful!

I had a sensor fail for the front parking sensor, as an easy diagnosis if you put your ear against the sensor you should hear a fast clicking / ticking noise. If you do the sensor is working fine.

If you come across one that isn't making a noise replace it, Land Rover wanted something like £70 if i remember right for the sensor, I got mine from eBay for £10 odd, item number eBay Item No. 251403844738. Looked identical and fixed the probleml.
