The salesman didn't bother to reply to my "any idea on dates" email but I will bend his ear. I think the person ahead of me may be the dealer principal... so they may still claim I'm the first customer car.

I don't think any of us have a real order - I, for example, have not signed off the final specification. As I understand it, the dealers have submitted levels of interest to LR but there's no information on allocation or build and delivery dates and this for a car which is meant to enter production next month with the Christmas and New Year break in the way too. Our orders, such as they are, are being held in the murky depths of the holding pool.

Ah, I see. I understand the slots should be confirmed by the end of December (which is only 2 weeks before job #1 starts down the line), and then the dealers will be given allocations.

I read on a .com website that the USA is only getting 400 SVR's. No figures for the UK market. I just hope i get one as i am sportless. 2012 Evoque

I doubt the SVR will be available in all the markets LR supplies, but if the 400 number for total 2015 production is correct, that suggests only about 1 a week for the UK.

Helpful call from my dealer who confirmed order books opened on 27 Nov with cars being allocated based on previously notified commitments to buy. An email from LR talked about 10 cars a week, not clear whether this is for the UK or the whole world. I expect that once the thing is reviewed and out there, demand will go ballistic.

So, what are your orders? Mine, placed first thing on the 27th as I insisted the dealership rang the factory every morning from the 3rd onwards when the book was first touted at being open*, is:
