Just a heads up, I went to Euro Car Parts today & got a new air filter & pollen filter.
The pollen filter they gave me was a Crosland (part no: 507670028). £7.30

Luckily I tried fitting it whilst in the car park (as I live about 6 miles away).
It didn't fit! I compared sizes and the Crosland seemed to be about 50mm too wide.
I went straight back in and told the guy but he said "they're supposed to be a tight fit". I argued the toss and went and got the old one to show him. So he gave in & got another from the back, a Mann (part no: 507670029). This fits perfectly.

Luckily I hadn't gone home to fit it.

So if you go to Euro Car Parts, make sure you get the right size before you leave!

Or £3.67 and a bit of postage if you can wait!

I used Mann filter - fits great - Rockauto,com for us on the other side of the pond ....

Just replaced one in a Full Fat and had exactly the same problem. Mentioned to ECP and they credited me the money and didn't need to return the old one.
Ended up buying one from PowerfulUK, didn't think about you Advanced .....will make sure I check out the next lot of bits and pieces I need  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
