Mines a 55 plate 2,7 they started at £825- leave them a while and they'll ring you. Make sure you get prestige warranty, with an uncapped labour rate. They should come back with £650 ish.

My experience today with Warranty Direct was absolutely amazing. Tney gave me a quote for a 2011 TDV6 HSE with 25000 miles as follows.
Year 1 -£700
Year 2 - £1260
Year 3-£1285
I had to pay the full amount off in the first year with four qrtly payments. I asked what else he could do and he said maybe 13 months cover for 12.

I am a previous customer some while ago as well. Twenty minutes later he comes back with a quote that is £185 more expensive. I am also still under dealer warranty till end of November so a good risk. I really think I am being taken for a ride here.

Blimey- well I can't defend any of that. I'm interested to see what the renewal price will be as I've had a couple of claims- in fact I've already claimed more than the cost of the warranty so it's paid for itself. You do need to keep your service history up to date though- on time as well as on mileage- and the service receipt, if non Land Rover, should clearly state the correct parts and fluids have been used.

Also- if they're inspecting it first I'm sure they'll insist you pay to replace anything that's even close to wearing out or at risk during the policy-

They're great aren't they- just spent £1300 on pads all round, front suspension arms and towing electrics. Although WD Are paying £500 of that. Without doubt the most expensive car to run I have ever had!

Not too impressed with WD -Quoted me £750 + £50 for audio cover and £70 for an inspection.
I asked if they covered everything - answer: Yes.
What about things not specifically stated in the policy i.e. Active Anti Roll bars. They had to check and the answer was a firm No - for unusual parts like that it would need their higher level of cover at well over £1000.

Looking at their limited list of what is actually covered, it seems very restrictive.

What sort of things have the paid out on to members here?

Thanks,
