Going to try drl conversion. suggestions?

Hi guys doing a wee upgrade and wanted to try this. I wanted a bit more info from reading the posts here from the guys that done them.

I've seen a good tutorial here to make the conversion:

I'll need heat gun, black spray and lacquer, drl ring lights x4 and some sealant to reseal the unit. Not sure about wiring if that comes with the lights or do I need to plan this too?

Questions are:

What suggested ring lights are good to look more OUR
What sealant is best to reseal the unit?
Can you do this in the oven?
Do the lights cause much trouble with blowing?

I fitted a pair of these.

http://www.powerfuluk.com/products/range-r...amp-).html

They were a straight swap for the existing fog lamps and very easy to fit/ wire in.

You do not lose the fog lamp functionality (different bulb) but you do get proper DRL lamps which can also be configured to double as cornering lamps as well as having a dimming function so they stay on with head lamps at night

A very good piece of kit that does not require you to open the headlight at all - they could also be very quickly removed if you were swapping the car

thanks, this was another option I looked at, I love the 2010 sports when they pass me in the early mornings, they look so much more cool than mine!
