Just check the car is actually locked when you plip the remote.

By disabling the OBD port, a new key cannot be coded to the car, and driven away |

It could potentially void any warranty you have. It will also make it more difficult for any garage you take it to trying to sort a problem. They would have to enable the port, do the work and then disable it again. Sounds like a recipe for disaster and excuses. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
