We are happy to announce that development of the IIDTool Pro has reached a milestone: we are now in the process of adding more vehicles to the list of vehicles we support. This means that the IIDTool BT will enter a new beta testing phase in the coming weeks for the following vehicles:
• Range Rover Sport L494
• Range Rover L405
• Range Rover Evoque L538
• Freelander 2/LR2 L359

We are now looking for new beta testers to join our beta program and participate in polishing the firmware. Betas have several advantages over regular retail customers: they receive close support throughout the beta program, can download updates early, and of course, they benefit from our beta pricing.

The beta release will contain the following functionality:

Standard diagnostic functions (not VIN or model locked, works on all supported Land Rover models)
• Fault read / clear
• Live values
• Control outputs
• Service / test functions

Enhanced diagnostic functions (one free VIN, extra VINs available at nominal cost if required):
• Component and system calibration (including suspension height adjustments, when air suspension Is fitted to the vehicle)
• Car Configuration File editing capability
• Advanced functions including backup / restore, save profiles – vehicle system settings and
configurations are read and stored as a backup file for a restore function, various changes
to systems (e.g. suspension height) can be stored and changed quickly

More functions will be added as development progresses, including ECU re-flash.

Also, since only the IIDTool BT fitted with a Bluetooth transceiver is available for these vehicles, one of the following devices will have to be used in conjunction with the IIDTool:
•iPad Mini
•iPad 3rd gen and up
•iPhone 4S, 5 and up
•iPod Touch 5 and up

Already, the IID is more capable than the dealers own diagnostic system for the models currently supported, as well as being much easier to use.

The addition of the new models is very welcome, and will be one of the best systems on the market very shortly
