How is the performance compared to the SDV6?
Also what size are the wheels, and how is the ride comfort and tyre noise with those?

there is a difference, not a huge amount but i do prefer sdv8.
The wheels are 22 and ride`s fine, not harsh or loud either.

Worth the uplift?

i think it is worth the upsize to the sdv8, my sdv6 did have bad lag but i lived with it until now.

Does it have a a decent V8 noise to it? My SDV6 is a bit too quiet....I had a prior shape TDV8 which had a great sound and great torque.

it does sound better than the sdv6 for diesel.

That cars the double of my wife's RRS. Fuji White, Black contrast roof, Ebony and Cirrus interior. AN excellent choice.... One difference though she went for the 5.0 V8 SC and that really does roar.

Enjoy the car, having just come back from an 1800 mile round trip to the Dordogne and back towing 1.8 tonnes of caravan, I can honestly say this is the best towcar we've ever had. Out gunning non towing 3 series and A4's at tool booths was a new game on us !

I have to say that I enjoyed driving the car so much, I've just ordered myself one to replace the 2014 Evoque Dynamic Plus (Another great car but not quite it's big brother !)

MY2015 now on order (March delivery ) Autobiography in ????? with ???? but only a 3.0 as I do too many miles for a V8.
