As for the dealership. I doubt very much a car that hasn't a final spec will be "confirmed for March"....

Thanks Sally, I don't think the trade-in will be anything to shout about from the roof tops - it's a petrol coupe after all which is not a popular variant - a perception of poor economy even though it's much more lively than the sluggish diesels and the coupe which looks the part and closer to the original concept but a dog to get in and out of the back.

WBAC are currently saying £25k which, if they came through with it would be reasonable. We'll see what the dealer says!!

I do agree about selling cars, I hate the tyre kickers and nit-pickers.

Sold a petrol Evoque (Dynamic, but 5 door) last year - lost 10k in two years.

ETA: Traded in at a dealership, not sold. 

Dealer is saying £24700 which is not bad keeping in mind it needs two new tyres and a third year service and two wheel refurbs. It's done 29600 miles...

Of course, WBAC bid is more but that's before they knock you back on inspection.

The interesting thing about the Coupe is that it costs more than the 5 door in the first place and depreciates faster. This one is down about £18k in 3 years, I'm happy enough not to go and try and find more privately. Life is too short. Mark
