A belated welcome to fellow TDV8 owner. They go like hell don't they? But please be kind to your turbos; use the right grade of oil, and change it every 7000 miles only use LR oil filters and fit them VERY carefully. There's a spigot sticking out that must be properly engaged before the filter housing is bolted down. Penalty for getting it wrong is one trashed engine. Enjoy 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Thanks guys, yes I'm really pleased with mine, got a knock on the suspension that the dealer is trying to sort out but other than that it's great. Am going to get a bluefin from super chips , not for power more to smooth it out and a little more mpg.

Had mine remapped by dynachip for more torque good bloke and a great price, had no problems. He also did the defender 2 years ago. I will be getting him to do the Freelander as well in the near future.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current
