Fuel flap

Hi all,I've searched but can't seem to find much about the fuel flap...does it lock with the remote locking ,I've seen on some forums that it doesn't lock at all ?
Think my catch is faulty as well so will have to get that sorted as it was open slightly after I got out today.

It's an 06 hse

Thanks in advance

Thanks Peachy Thumbs Up will give it a shot tomorrow I just noticed it tonight as flap was slightly open so I think the catch is worn and not holding it in place

It has a double catch that keeps it closed, press the flap once when the car is unlocked and it opens, close the flap and it locks. When you activate central locking a nylon rod engages the flap to keep it locked. If it is not locked when the central locking is activated then the fuel flap actuator or rod is broken. I had mine fixed recently. 2006 RRS SC Bonatti Grey (the 55th car/van I have owned)

Mine doesn't lock. But I think I'd prefer just to have my diesel pinched, rather than my diesel pinched and my petrol flap jimmied open!

Have you checked it hasn't just come away as it would if you manually released it?
