United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Stornoway Grey
newbie hst questions

Hi all
Im new to the forum and new to range rovers. I am currently looking into getting a hst. I have been looking into getting a 3.6 tdve but have since been informed of turbo issues if they are not used alot. I would only do 30-60 miles at weekends as I have a work van so am assuming this is not good for the vehicle. Im not really worried about fuel costs and have seen posts saying go for the 4.2 supercharged. Does this one not suffer the same issues if its not used, or is it just a diesel thing. I have no option to use the rrs for work so it is just a weekend toy.
Thanks in advance

Welcome - if your mileage is as low as that then the Supercharged petrol is for you Thumbs Up no real reported historical issues & you should be able to pick up better deal looking for a gas guzzler - mine averaged 13 mpg but that was worth the pain - what a dream - it roars as you pull away Whistle Wink 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

One other question. Do these depreciate alot? I know the diesels hold there money.

They have already taken a kick in - depreciation is higher than the diesel but like your demonstrating & I have just shown ( sold my 4.2 recently ) Very Happy a well loved low mileage petrol is a sought after item to the right people Thumbs Up 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............
