Haven't noticed this, but on a steep upward incline have noticed that the V6 diesel struggles to maintain set speed, in particular, if the cruise speed is highish. More horses on the V8 should set that right. But all that doesn't find a solution to your problem. If it hassles you, back to the dealer it is..  RRS 2.7TDV6 HSE Java Black, Sun Roof, Tasmod Sills
