Follow Mode gets too close

Hi

I'm trying to get used to all the features of my new RRS and I wonder if someone else has the same experience as me. While driving in the Follow Mode (using cruise control to keep the distance in a queue) I feel that it lets my car get awfully close to the car in front sometimes. Especially going down hill this feels bad. My feeling is that it don't apply the brakes enough. I've tried all the different distance adjustments, but still I don't trust the Follow Mode to keep me from driving into the car in front. Anyone else with the same experience?

With Kind Regards

Snorre

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Zermatt Silver

I use the ACC feature all the time, Motorways and Urban roads like the A4 or A40.

In the dry I leave it set on its 3 space setting in the wet I increase to the 4 space setting.

I agree compared to my MB E Class which had ACC it does seem a little tardy slowing down but actually when you are used to it I find it works just fine. MY2010 TDV8 purchased Jan 2017
MY14 HSE Dynamic 3.0 SDV6 sold Sept 2015
MY 2010 TDV8 sold April 2014
MY 2007 V6 HSE sold July 2013

ok, thank you for you input. I'll give it some more time. After driving in Italy for four weeks I should be used to driving really close to the car in front Smile
