Help with pricing my 2007 RRS HSE 2.7

I am selling my 2007 RRS HSE 2.7 as i have bought a newer model and was wondering if anyone could give me a realistic price i should put it up for sale for, 96,363 miles, taxed until 30-09-14 and MOT until 2-04-15, In April i had the front suspension arms replaced, new slotted and vented disks and brake pads all round it has colour coded door handles, wing mirrors and front grille..It has built in dvd players in both rear headrest they can be used independently, chrome tail pipes and has recently had all the rear glass re tinted with limousine black, There are chips and light scratching around the car and the odd wear makes on the inside that would be expected from a car of this age there is also squeaking from the rear this in not all the time but seems to start after a few hours driving and only in hot weather, The wheels have recently been powder coated but have kerb marks on them Thanks Steve NUMBER PLATE NOT INCLUDED

Steve - I suggest the usual round - WBAC - EBay - Auto trader - Pistonheads etc to compare similar models & age - In your head you probably have a good idea already - then add the question - how long can you afford to have it around. I was offered a ridiculous price by dealers a few weeks ago. The only way I get what I thought it was worth was to advertise private - again I was prepared to go lower to move it quicker - 2 Sports on the drive s a little too much Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............
17MY Autobiography Dynamic - Corris Grey - WOW.
14MY Autobiography Dynamic - SDV6 - Fuji White Smile
12MY Autobiography - SDV6 - Santorini Black - Dual View - Rear Entertainment - Sunroof.
12MY Autobiography - SDV6 - Orkney Grey - awesome ;(
2005 Java Black - 4.2 V8 Supercharged First Edition- will never be forgotten ;(

Hi Peachy, I know what you mean i also have two on the drive, the neighbours think i have won the lottery Laughing
i am in no rush for the money but obviously the tax and MOT are running down, I think people always think there pride and joy are worth more than they are and i know the money you spend on them dose not get you much more when you sell but may make it easier to sell, I was thinking £16k does this sound reasonable ? Thanks Steve

I don't know the UK Market intimately but I would have thought that $14k for a quicker sale would be realistic. Marks on the inside put people off and she is quite a high miler. How long have you had it? How many owners? Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6
Gone - 2009 Buckingham Blue RRS 2.7 TDV6
Gone - 2010 Alaska White RRS 5.0 V8 Aspirated
Gone - 2017 Chawton White RRS 5.0 V8 Supercharged
Current - 2010 Java Black RRS 5.0 V8 Aspirated
Current- 2024 RRS P400 SE Dynamic

BKHK, I think 14k is to cheap, I dont need the money so not bothered about a quick sale, The condition of the inside is general wear light scratching on the inside door handle signs of wear on the drivers seat and stone chips and light scratches on the outside, If it goes for sale on e-bay i will not mention this as no one else does when selling there car they can come and view and make there own mind up, I just wanted to be honest to other forum members..I am the third owner i have had it for a year and am selling due to buying a newer RRS, Regards Steve

You might have sold your beauty already but for accurate market valuation used by dealers, your best bet is
http://www.cap.co.uk/consumer/free-used-car-valuations

It quotes 16800-17500. Trade in value is 13700. You were probably offered around 12500? I would advertise at 15950 and expect to get atleast 15000.
I dont own a RRS yet but have found this forum very helpful in trying to avoid pitfalls (probably the reason that I am still without a RRS ) and have spent weeks scouring autotrader. My choice would be 5 litre supercharged 2010 onwards with less than 30,000 on the clock with budget not exceeding 30,000.

Hi Hodjie,
You got a beatuy. Enjoy her for many years to come. If you want to know how much your one costs now (you may have done already) without spoiling the fun the trade in value is £33,900 Sad . Average dealer retail value is 40,500. i.e. I can expect to get one on cargiant for £39,000. If you look at autotrader, Taunton Landrover has a 10 plate RRS supercharged which has done 23,000 HSE for £29,900 . Was sold the same week it was advertised. There have been other cars around that price and they were sold quicker than I could pull my credit card out of my pocket. Shocked
Kind Regards
