New SMD/CREE Combo lights now in

As we have developed such a strong trust with our supplier of CREE / SMD products I am growing the range and have added more references to stock this week.

As with the last batch of nice sidelights and interior lights these are all the best quality you will find, very tactile and well machined!

(They even do what they are supposed to do!)

So first up:

A festoon bulb, replaces UK reference 272, no good for the Sport or Discovery but plenty of other cars have them on the interior

A front side light bulb for most older vehicles (like a Defender) but again not for the Sport or Discovery 3/4 replaces UK reference 207 This is a forward facing CREE with 5630 SMDs around the sides

Then the ones you have been waiting for...

A RED twin filament Stop/Tail light, replaces UK reference 380 this is a RED CREE facing out and RED 5630 SMDs around the sides and works at two levels of intensity - perfect for the Sport or Discovery 3 stop and tail light, along with most other cars!

Then a AMBER CREE with AMBER SMDs around the side for Indicators, fits the rear of a Sport, D3 plus many other cars, again a forward facing CREE.

All very bright, white and impressive, just like the sides and interior lights below that we launched a few weeks back. (The CREE sidelight is a perfect match for Xenons)

Hi,

Can you recommend a LED indicator replacement for a 2006?

Regards.

Scott.

Catalogue shows it as a 581 type bulb, which is a metal cap offset pin, it's been a few years since I had a Sport so if you could confirm this please, if so then -

You will almost certainly need to add resistors to ensure the dash indicator runs at correct speed, we have these as well. Paul Redding

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

I recently bought the 501 replacement CREE lights for my sidelights. Usual speedy service from AF Thumbs Up

I found the old ebay-sourced 501 LEDs had dimmed and gained a quite bluish tint. The CREE version is jolly bright (much brighter than the original filament or LED units) and reasonably close to the xenon white (although slightly blue to my eyes it's not enough to be obvious, if that makes sense).

If you're considering changing filament sidelights to LED then I can recommend the CREE version. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
