Just contacted my contact at Stratstone of Mayfair and was told that my vehicle had privacy glass fitted at the dealer, they said it gives the benefit of offering a light smoke tint on the front two windows as well as a darker (midnight) tint on the rear. Legally the front windows cannot have privacy glass fitted, therefore when supplied from the manufacturer it is only from what we would call the B-post back.

Hope this helps

John

Hi,
Having my car tinted this week-end but still wondering on how dark to go. The company I am going to do it with advise me to go 20% to the rear, 35% to the front ( example: http://www.nightshadetinting.co.uk/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=48 ) . They say that with a clear interior (beige in my case) it will not look to dark. I am thinking about 35% to the rear and 50% to the front...

Any input guys?? Range Rover Vogue ‘17 TDV6

Unfortunately my tint is simply called 'Light Smoke' front and 'Midnight' rear.
I was told by the dealer it was darker than the factory fit.
I have Ivory interior and am very pleased with the effect from both internal and external view.

The higher the % the more light. 35% will let 35% of the light through Range Rover Vogue ‘17 TDV6
