Transmission problems ?

Hi I have not been on here for a while, but Im after some ideas on whats happened now to my RRS 09 model
driving home tonight it flashed up a Transmission Fault loss of some gears ,and it was 1st gear Ive lost as it was a pig to pull away after we pulled in.
Ive just read about a tyre change on another thread affected the transmission.Well Ive just had them all replaced at main dealers. Would this have anything to do with it ?

First of all, make sure all tyres are the same size.
Seen that done before, even by a main dealer

Im just about to go out and check all the tyres before I take it back. another thing I didnt mention but since having them done my ignition light stays on for a lot longer than it should, I read on here last night that they have to disconnect the battery to change the tyres.Would this be the reason why it now stays on?
