You just need the removable two bar which slips into that socket and locks with a key - on ebay for around £150. Or you can fit the heavy duty height adjustable system (looks like an oil rig hanging out the back) for more. You'll need single or twin electrics fitted and wired in to the cars systems. Electrics I think are around the same price supplied looking on ebay as well. I can't imagine it would take an auto electrician or fitting centre long to wire this in. |

I've just fitted a towbar pack myself, Using the 13 pin socket.

If he's supplying the L/R OEM part, I'd let him do it for that price. In fact, I'm not sure how he can do it for that price, unless he's getting a good discount from L/R. Edit* Just read your original post concerning 'single electric's'.................. Which is probably a different harness than the twin or 13 pin socket. |

The fixed tow bar is recommended if you are towing often and heavy loads. I believe the nose weight goes up from 150kg to 250kg. I bought the fixed one from Webber for £225 off Amazon. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger!
