Various warning lights..... ?

Fitted the tow pack, and then towed my tin tent away for the weekend.

Firstly the cruise control came up with 'Acc blocked' on the dash, then the suspension light came on, then a warning saying the EPB had failed................... all within a 20 minute period.

Car still worked/towed ok though.

Got to our destination, switched off the car, and upon restarting everything seemed re set and ok.

We came home today without the caravan and the cruise control issue re appeared with the same fault, so we stopped and restarted the car, which re set the cruise, but after using it again, it went back into fault.

Any idea's/clue's as to what's going on ?

Not feeling confident about keeping this car if it's going to keep having constant fault's.............................

Some of these gremlins come and go as a result of battery issues. I'd have the alt and battery tested to make sure that's ok before you write it off. Thumbs Up Range Rover Sport HSE DYnamic SDV6 Velocity blue 2020 MY

Thanks for the tip....... I just went and tested the battery for charge using a hydrometer, and it was showing half charged.

So a good charge up has been done, and now we will have to see.............................

Went to pick up the tin tent today. Set the cruise control on, and after 20 mins or so, up pops the ' ACC Blocked' message yet again. This was on the way down to the tin tent at around 70mph. After picking up the tin tent, the system had re set itself, but was soon back with 'ACC Blocked' after a few miles towing.

Anyone have any idea's what's going on ?

Or is there a way of turning off the distance sensor, and just having normal cruise control ?

It always works perfectly ok for a while after the car has been turned off and back on again...... Strange....

Car Configuration File Thumbs Up

Had to do exactly this on a customer's RRS. Fault code logged for a fault with the front radar, and cruise did not work at all.
Disabled the ACC part of it, and left it with just normal Cruise Control, works fine now Thumbs Up

Is this something I can do myself, or do I need the dealers diagnostic/software tools ?

Cheers for the help.

You will.need to find someone with an IIDTool or Faultmate, capable of modifying the CCF

Could always buy your own IID. Can then do it yourself, along with reading fault codes, reset service lights etc

I've just had the confirmation from the warranty people, that it has been transferred into my name from the previous owner.

Mmmmmm......... it might be worth a punt visiting the L/R dealer, and see what he says.
