Yes, classic symptom of a split intercooler hose it seems. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I had a similar problem. During the process of replacing the hoses it seemed there was a split in the intercooler and the EGRs were goosed. Pricey job but all is well now, and it feels like a different car |

yes mine did the same, as a quick fix while you wait for a new hose, Clean the hose so its free of dirt and oil. then bind it with black gaffer tape, this will reduce the black smoke. Its not a fix and you will need to replace the hose |
