Windscreen cowl fading

Hi all.

My windscreen cowl is now an awful shade of grey and looks terrible.. My car is 4 years old, surely this isn't right! Anyway the dealer where I brought it from won't fix it as it's classed as cosmetic.

So, has anybody else got this problem? What did you do to correct it?

I'm thinkiking a) replace the part b) remove the cowl and re spray

Anybody know how to remove the cowling?

Mine is the same although mines a couple of years older than yours, And it Censored me off..I bought the g4 cleaner that everyone raves about and it did nothing, I have scratched it with my nail and its like there is a layer of something on it, I am also looking at replacing if its a easy fix, does anyone know the part number..

I replaced the cowling with a new part from Dan @ Duckworth`s - about £40 delivered ( but don`t quote me on the price ).
30 min job - remove A Pillar Post trims - then windscreen wiper blade arms. The cowling just pulls off - 5 clips. Just the reverse to fit - be aware some trim clips may need replacing. Thumbs Up 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

I could do with changing mine, if there are some instructions that would be great.
