iPhone music navigation through Bluetooth

Having trouble to navigate any music on the Infotainment screen from my iPhone through Bluetooth.

If I connect the phone via USB then I can see additional buttons like browse so I can dig into the phones music, albeit the navigation is a little tedious, it looks like this:

However when I connect the same phone via Bluetooth then these buttons are not there and consequently there is no way to navigate the music except from the phone: looks like this

Am I missing something here ?

No, not missing anything. Music control through BT is just forward and back through the song list. Mine starts with A&E, then ABACAB, Abide with Me (3 times), About you Now, ... (Umpteen thousand songs later) ... 633 Squadron, 1234, 1973, and ends with 2000 Miles.

Back to using a cable I think.
