Xenon bulb spec, possible to upgrade ?

My soon to depart D4 had extra driving lights installed that were really useful for night time and winter driving, it was just easier on the eyes.

Anyone know the bulb spec on the standard Xenons on an RRS2 and can they be improved with better perhaps more powerful bulbs ?

I don't want to add extra spots to the front of the RRS2 as I think it would spoil the look, well not at first Wink

Pretty disappointed with the high beam Xenons on my car which by the way are an expensive option here in Australia.. Am looking at a fix. One bloke on AULRO D3/D4/RRS forum here has fitted some LEDs below the grill. Says they work well but i'd have to see to be convinced. RRS P460e
1983 2 door Range Rover ARB Bar X9000 winch ARB Rear Bar now semi retired.
Many big trips done in this one.
1982 Rangerover nearly restored.
22 Defender D250 with lots of stuff for outback touring
Nice 2013 Freelander TD4 manual (for daughter to learn on) with much better stereo compared with previous SD4 SE with Meridian which sounded bad!
2013 Land Rover Defender ute.

Yep the standard Xenons on D4's aren't great. I have to doubt the LEDs until I've seen the proof, perhaps a set of Lightforce may be in order Very Happy

It was an RRS 2 that he fitted LEDs too.. And I'm not happy about the Xenons on my Sport..

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

That actually looks fantastic!

Would seriously contemplate something like this! MY10 HSE 3.0 TDV6 : Santorini Black : Ebony Interior w/Anigre wood : Privacy Glass (total) : Sunroof : Sidesteps : Hybrid TV : Detachable Tow Kit : Spare Wheel Cover : 22" Dished Supersports
