Access Height

Hi guys, just picked up my new Sport this morning and after several ins and outs, I was wondering if there is any way to configure my car so that when Park is engaged, the car will automatically lower to the lowered access height each and everytime?
Also, while I'm asking questions....the FMC, on the Nav Screen...does that work in the UK? Didn't see it available once on my drive home from the dealership this morning.

No idea mate! There is no way on the MY13, probably not on your model?

Some one will be along shortly with a definitive answer.

Scotland 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 SE Santorini Black

I would think you would end up with premature wear on the parking brake and the drivetrain if it did it automatically. In mine (MY10), I only let it down in neutral with the foot on the brake, then apply the EPB and stick it in park. If you do it in park with the EPB on , there are all sorts of moans and groans meaning something is getting stressed when it lowers down.

Cheers

Yes, sorry rangiejools, only have these 21" things
for the moment as the car was delivered with the wrong rims and the dealer is now sourcing me some 22s.
Have you got Brembo's as I wasn't 100% sure the 20"s fit well around those big red things? 2014.5 RRS, Blue...awaiting Style 17 22" wheels

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Sumatra Black

Not a good idea to change height when the wheels are stationary as the wheel camber has to change. Better to be moving (slowly).

Hi Squirrel,

Really like your colour scheme! I am pretty sure I have the big brakes but not painted red .Here is my car in Chilli Red.

Chilli Red..its a "premium metallic".. Its called "premium" so that they can charge more for it! I was sucked in...silly me! I think its the colour of the car in all the LR promotional videos. RRS P460e

2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Zermatt Silver

Mark - I was wondering also whether that 'electric' blue would be a future colour for the UK market. It's quite like Audi 'Kingfisher' Blue. Coupled with a black roof, gloss back mirrors, and maybe matt black 2 x 2 twin exhausts, black grill, it would be quite stunning! I'd have a slate grey interior.

I'm surprised by the blue - it's miles away from the Loire Blue we have in the UK and I don't see it on the Australian web-site. Can't believe the owner has had it re-sprayed so not clear where it comes from - unless the picture has been photoshopped. Mark
