I push the button and the water squirts onto the screen and about 1 sec later the wipers start - this allows at least some water on the screen before the wipers work - however the water does not get to the bottom of the screen so that bit gets wiped dry and I have had to replace one screen because of deep scratches in that area.

Your need for misting sprayers would help with this.

Indeed. I will have to research on why my wipers do not wipe after skirters as yours does. Cheers

I usually do short push of the button, so that I can get enough water on the screen, then wait a bit till the water gets to the bottom, then activate the wipers '08 RRS TDV8

Does yours not automatically start wiping having pressed the washer button then?

Yes they do start automatically, that's why I do short push of the button, short enough not to activate the automatic swipe '08 RRS TDV8

If you are doing 110kph down the road the water just goes up the windscreen not down so the water never gets down the bottom. 07MY RRS TDV6

I usually do 110 in reverse, so works fine Wink '08 RRS TDV8
