When I got this car, upon opening the drivers door, the drivers seat would retract and lower to make entry easier.

But being a person who has to interfere with everything, I have managed to disable it somehow............. Anyone want to help a plonker out, and tell me how to re-activate it.

Owners hand book seems pretty useless.............................

Have you by any chance taken the steering wheel adjustment knob out of "auto" position? I think that might be the issue.
