Does sound nice.

I agree with James May, however, when it comes to the Nordschleife. Anything developed to be quick on a race track is not going to be soothing (or quick) on the rutted and pot-holed roads we have to use day-to-day.

Having said that, if you want a sports car, get a sports car not an SUV pretending to be a sports car (no matter how nice it sounds). I saw a nice sports car today - a McLaren 650S was sat in the same traffic jam as me on my way home.

2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I was by the start line at Goodwood when LR took the SVR for a run up the hill on Sunday....... it sounds incredible! Obviously it shares the same basic engine as the F-Type V8S and Coupe R, but sounds like it has an active exhaust too.

I took some footage on my GoPro so will try to download over the next couple of days.
