I see that you are in Muscat Oman.

For use in Europe then the K&N's are fine but over here in the Middle East where we have a much higher concentration of dust and sand in the air I don't recommend 'Hi Flow' air filters which by design allow more air & damaging sand particles into the engine.
The MAF on your car can also get damaged (burn out) by minute traces of the sticky oil used to trap dust on the filters mesh.
I've opened up a few Rover V8 race engines here in Dubai that used the K&N's and you'd be amazed at just how much fine sand gets through the gauze of these filters. One engine had close to a cup full of sandy silt in the sump and the only way it got into the engine was via the air filter!
I don't use them on any of my cars now so if you want to do something about cleaner air for your car then fit a raised air intake snorkel.

The increase in performance is not worth the cost of the engine IMHO. Ra-Ro Sport Super Dooper Charged.
Ford F350 Super Duty Prototype.
Ni$$@n Patrol 4.8 Overlander.

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

According to figures shown by a tuner that sponsors this site, K&N filters don't give a performance boost over the standard filter anyway. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
