climate control fault

Hi all I am really enjoying my08 tdv8 sport over the last month since I bought it. How ever when I tried the climate control it did not blow very cold when turned down to its lowest setting. Itook the car to kwik fit who recharged the system and it was then very cold. how ever today with it being warm when I turned it down low to cool the car it was only blowing cool not cold as before. any body got any ideas what it could be thanks Ade Crying or Very sad

Sounds like you may have a leak somewhere, if you had it refilled then that tells me it lost the refrigerant so it may have a small leak. You need to get it pressure tested (I think that's what they do to verify if you have leaks).

Its not obvious but on the 2011 you press the Tone button to pull up the AVC (Automatic Volume Control).
Then select AVC option and adjust volume to speed relationship.
Haven't checked 2013 but it must have a similar totally illogical way of accessing it!
Only LR could dream up an approach like this.

Hi Uk Guy when they re gassed it they test it first to see if there are any leaks. Just wondered if they could have left a cap or tap slightly undone or am I looking at something more serious thanks Ade,
Just got back from kwik fit car booked in for this Saturday.
on the way home today I had climate control on auto with the temp dials both turned down to the lowest temp. the passenger side felt colder than the drivers any one got any ideas why I should get different tamps from one side to the other if they are both at lowest setting.
Sad
