Obviously I'd like it if England won but I won't be watching them play! |

As ever, I hope England get knocked out nice and early - then the media can calm down and we won't have to have football rammed down our throats every five minutes...

Who needs enemies and all that.... I hope we do extremely well and if we can get out the group stages I'm confident we can reach the semi's at least! #3Lions LCFC. Receiver of threatening letters from Overfinch. |

RRSTDV8 does have a valid point though; what they earn in a week would take the rest of us years to achieve and if you look at World Cup results, the last time England won it was in '66! |

They earn a horrendous amount of money but ultimately that is what the club decides to pay them. The majority of revenue is from TV deals, and it's us, the general public that fork out up to £40 a month to have the comfort of watching them from our front rooms.

Promising display from the boys and we deserved a point at least after dominating the second half.

You have made me show a bit of interest by having to Google who Iran played! It was Nigeria! |

How frustrating are England to watch I sometimes wonder if they know which direction they are playing 1 pass forward 3 passes back and usually the 3rd pass is to the opposition. Oh Rooney has just tripped over the ball and equalised. What a load of they are, they are embarrassing. Certainly not world class.
