I fear he'll be a bed-bound dribbling wreck. Not something I'd wish on anyone, certainly not someone as physically active as he has been all of his life. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Being brought out of the induced coma is not the same as suddenly waking up like they do in the movies. He has been removed from the ICU which is good news because it means his life is no longer in immediate danger. It doesn't mean he has regained his faculties.

If he'd been speaking, or even showing signs of interaction/recognition then I'm sure the family would have said so. The fact that there is no mention of any sort of positive improvement suggests that he is "awake" in only the most limited way.

I wish him well but I don't have any delusions about his eventual recovery. For someone like him, hell for anyone, some form of vegetative state could not be described as a good recovery. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
