Trying to gauge opinions on wether or not a Sunroof is needed or not - looking at a 12MY AB but no sunroof

I personally like a sunroof even though mine hasn't got one.

It wouldn't/didn't put me off buying this one.

Personally after having one with and one without, it would be a deal breaker for me......love a sunroof

I tried to find a car with a sunroof when I was buying mine.

I did a search on the Landrover site for my RRS, set all the parameters I wanted - 150'ish cars for sale. Then added sunroof into the requirements - only 2 cars met my criteria. I decided that although I really like a sunroof it wasn't worth worrying about. If you see a car and it has one and meets the rest of the spec you want, buy it. I'm in the shed, I'll be back in the real world in a minute.

I think if you have a light headlining a sun roof is not needed.

Not needed in my opinion as the cabin feels reasonably light and airy even with black trim (and a light headlining). Also, sun roof is another thing to go wrong / leak - with LR's record I'm not sure we should tempt fate by adding yet more failure options! 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

My MY2010 TDV8 has a sunroof but I didn't consider it to be necessary when I bought it as a used car. Personally I hate it because the sun just annoys me, far too cheeeful, but my kids love it. Bet this doesn't help you.

I specced my motor with a sunroof as you know Peachy, i use it all the time, had one in my previous 2006 sport and never experienced any problems. Also good if you have a dog, leave it on tilt should you need to nip to the shop with the dog in the car. A sunroof for me everytime. I also have black headlining black leather and grand black interior trim and tinted rear windows, i still don't find it too dark.

Going to view this tomorrow No sunroof & I don`t like the wheels maybe I will stay in Brum & wash the Sport instead.

Not to keen on the Red Version or I would have contacted AIDYB by now. I cant buy a newer motor then start swapping bits Mrs P WOULD LOOSE IT  16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Why do you need a sunroof? You don't have any sun

If the rest of the car was right, it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. I have black headlining and I don't use my roof as much as I thought I would, especially in summer as its easy to get sunburn here. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

Peachy, those arn't the original wheels for the A/B, ask them for the correct wheels for the spec of that car. Or you could swap them for mine.

Didn't the A/B come with heated steering wheel as standard either?
