Landrover Spring Adventure
Haven't posted much on here since I bought my car over a year ago. On the first long run I had to be recovered on a trailer, but since then its given me 14 months of trouble free motoring.
Anyway, I took it to the Landrover Spring Adventure show at Ripley Castle today. They had a pretty impressive purpose built off road course that you can have a go on for £15. To be honest the show was mostly Defenders and Disco's, but not many seemed to want to get their cars dirty, so it was really quiet in the off-road bit. The marshals warned me to take it very easy, but the car coped perfectly well with the dial set to mud and ruts, low range box and big high ride height (I also have AT tyres but it was pretty dry anyway). Hill descent control is pretty amazing! I stuck to the green route on the advice of the marshals but got some appreciative/you must be nuts comments from other, more serious, off-roaders.

Good stuff and well done for getting your RRS muddy
It's always fun to show the unbelievers how capable the Sport actually is off road. Many, especially Defender and D1/2 owners, seem to think that the Sport is a footballer's car and all show with no go. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I heard about that (was after I left). What happened? Was it in the main arena or the technical one?
