silica in compress

Today I took an old compressor dryer in bits and found it to be glossed solid so I guess that's why the red suspension light kept coming on. I have cleaned all the silica stuff out cleaned it and put it back together so now need to see if I have fixed it lol

The silica is there as a drying agent.
