Jersey 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 S Rimini Red
Head Unit Gremlins

Hello again everyone,

Other then my mysterious rear wiper that never stops in the right place the RRS has been a dream, then you have the Ghost issues with the head unit.

Firstly for no apparent reason, when changing track or volume using the steering wheel controls it starts flashing up "no phone connected" we don't have the phone adapter installed.

then it's done this twice to me now and both times turning the vehicle off for 30 mins (a time out as the landy club are calling it) seems to sort it, the head unit will not play anything, now when I say it won't play I will explain properly.

you can change CD and hear the CD change, you can change track but the track counter as in 0.00 minutes does not change, change from CD to radio and change Radio channel, and even change to the audio adapter, but nothing, no sound.

any ideas??? Member of the Jersey Land Rover Owner Club

Have you tried the hard reset to see if that sorts it. (Disconnect battery terminals and touch them together)
