Am currently trying to fit xenon headlights to my RRS. If anyone has part no's for Australian xenon headlight assemblies, or knows if they are the same internationally, could they please let me know. Hoping to get the things organised so i can fit when i return to dry land, i'm currently bobbing around the Gulf of Thailand on an oil rig. Perhaps some of you UK boys can shed some light on this as you seem to know some people in the right places! (i'm more than likely going to get them imported from over there and would be nice to know if the part numbers correspond) |

If you need any further clarification I'm pretty sure I have a workshop manual on my home PC from the GTR site, I could do some more digging if you need confirmation.

Thanks everyone, have got some great information off you all as well as doing some research myself. This is what is what i have found out: There are 15 types of bi-xenon headlight assembly's Strange considering there is only one modle of Sport released so far. Generally speaking they are $5000 ea in Oz! And not many dealers are favourable to the idea..... Very glad i didn't jump the gun and just order some from the UK. I had a fortunate turn of events when i came across a forum member called TrivettRSport, some of you may remember the Lazey-Lock? Turns out he can supply them cheaper than i can source them from the UK, prior to shipment, and while he's at it, i'm getting the LL added. For those of you who don't know, it shuts the windows and sun roof when the alarm is activated, great if your are as they say, Lazy! Will let you know how it all goes..... |
