2010 AFS headlights compatible on pre facelift

Hi there

I have just purchased as part of my pre facelift autobiography conversion some new VALEO AFS headlights, my current lights are AFS and work fine, when I install the new lights everything works fine but the AFS light comes on the dashboard should these be straight plug and play or do I need to have the car reconfigured at dealer to accept the new lights for them to work?

Or should they be plug and play?

Please help anyone?
