Td5or300tdi just wondering if any of you could advise ( re defender ) my lad is insured on my sport and also has the use of a older xtrail we have ( which I must say is a cracking car ) any way he is after a old defender so we went for a look yesterday I am now informed the td5 is the bmw engine which god forbid would you believe contains electrics and the 300 is more favoured by the flat earth society , the money ime going to give him will allow for a 20 plus yr old car any thoughts on which one must say we did see a really nice td5 in blue very tidy however it had been sold on Friday quite exciting trying to locate and buy one does seem a challenge but much better than walking into a showroom and ordering a new car thank rob
