I'd read on the autotrader spec that my car had puddle lamps, I loved this idea to add the blue led in them for my own childish bling - but when I bought it I went out that night to test them and discovered the puddle light was inside the doors I was so sad!

Can you retrofit them to the mirrors - of is that a whole world or pain with drills and wires and door cards?
Ideally love to add one, but not if it means a whole saturday working on it taking my car apart and scratching something badly along the way  

Yes it should be possible to retrofit the mirrors but there are couple of issues. The canbus needs turned on to make system work, and the circuit doesn't like LED's even fault free ones as they don't generate enough resistance to recognise that bulbs are present so you have to fit resistors and its squeaky space wise in mirror and in door without lengthening loom which is what I did with Fullfat in end. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱

LED's aren't an issue as long as you use canbus/error free/ resisted bulbs on outside lights, you can use anything internally. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
