I'm with Admiral. Cheapest by far for my circumstances, and that is what it all depends on.

I am with Esure multicar. They are reasonable cost but I haven't needed to make a claim with them so I can't say if they are any good or not. Fingers crossed I never have to find out Laughing

Wales 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange

I'm with Flux Direct, and they were the cheapest this year. Previous 4 years has been Swift. A price guide for you is this, for a 2005 4.2 S/C

48 years of age
11 years NCD
6,000 miles per year
parked on street
S,D&P use
£250 excess
£345 premium to pay  RR Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange 4.2 V8 First edition

Prefer RR Vouge S/C but they don't do Orange !

Its probably the insurance companies fear that the Kahn bodykit will fall off above 20mph damaging other vehicles around you, increasing your risk of a claim. Whistle They are not known to be the best bodykits out there,

Admiral for me too. Relatively cheaper than the rest and painless when it comes to most admin type things. Luckily I've never had to claim so don't know how good they (or any other insurer) are on that front.

The only issue I had with Admiral was when I wanted to put 19" alloys with winter tyres to replace my standard 20". They wanted to classify that as a modification and charge me for it despite my argument that I was going to use genuine LR wheels, recommended winter tyres and was undoubtedly going to be safer for myself and others in bad weather. If I just put winter tyres on the same wheels they didn't even need to be notified (but that's the law I guess). Their reasoning was "because the car came with 20" wheels from the factory, downsizing is a modification". I spoke to different people at different times hoping common sense would prevail but got the same response everytime Banging Head Don't know how other insurers compare for that sort of thing as I never tried. I just didn't want to tell (and pay) them every winter and ditched the idea of keeping a second set of wheels. Will just use 20" winter tyres instead. No big deal Thumbs Up
