I don't think a disconnected battery will clear your previous destinations, but i'm pretty sure it won't have clocked up 190 miles Someone has some explaining to do. Another reason why i have an incar camera. |

I had a 'hard reset' with a battery disconnect on my RRS when I had it and the Sat Nav memory remained. Sounds like an intentional wipe . As Ady says, someone has some explaining to do ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

thanks gents - I didnt think it would but wanted to be sure, i suppose he next obvious question is what do you need to do to clear the previous history so i can understand what the enginner must have done to wipe his own history. I am meeting with the dealers MD next week and going to give him both barrels as you can imagine. So far they have sent me a summary of events which claims they did seven road tests in the space of one week !!!!! |

It should be in the handbook , but think from memory there is a button to erase recent destinations. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
