In what way?

I have a de-cat on my D3. Looking at getting the centre silencer chopped out, and some smaller rear silencers Thumbs Up

I took the cat and rear silencers out of my V6, and just the rear silencers out of V8 adding twin exits each side. Tiny bit more noise and didn't affect performance but played havoc with the front of white tintent Thumbs Up

I have a spare de-cat lying around, if you fancy that. Didn't make a huge difference to the noise on its own though, but I fitted it for other reasons Thumbs Up

I also had an RRS in, that had the centre box modified, and made very little difference to the noise. Get rid of the rear silencers first, and go from there Thumbs Up

had a custom 2" cat-back done to my tdv6 (removed the centre box and the rear boxes and replaced with 2" inox straight pipe) and it turned into a beast! here's a video.... https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=62318...mp;theater
and a pic.

well,i removed the exhaust completly from the centre box back and bought some ready-made 2" inox bends and aprox 6 meters of 2" inox pipe and had a buddy redo the pipeline after the factory exhaust. all in all it cost me aprox 350-400 euros with labour included (my buddy is a professional aluminium welder and he made me a big discount but still, the welding wire is quite expensive) but enough talk...the pics tell a much better story....ah...it got louder after a while...it's louder than one of my buddy's techart magnum chayenne turbo Twisted Evil

@DAZ, idk how a v8 would sound without a centre box but the v6 sounds quite loud....as i said....it got even louder after a while. i love it though maybe not all enjoy the roar Smile
