I lent my 2006 he's tdv6 to a friend and he managed to mess up sat nav worked perfectly until he used it now it's in Belgium and won't come back to England and the no gps is up in the top left hand of the screen can any body advise me please dealer said bring it in,they reckoned its fxxxxd and needs replacing.

Its not f*cked at all, its just a country setting. Very easy fix, scroll through your settings. I cant recall the exact screen but there is a thread on the site where someone explains how to do it.

Belgium is the default setting so you just need to change it back to the UK and it should be fine.

In your nav menu look for the 'Search Area' button and that is the way to access the countries setting. No idea why they didnt just call that "Country" instead.
