Engine Number (Code)

where is the engine number (or code) on Range Rover Sport 2.7 V6 diesel.... thanks anyway Go Fast

engine number.

You have to take the oil filler cap off ( without engine running), and pull upwards on the large plastic top engine cover.(it has 4 ball / socket attachments) and it should just pull off. Then on the R/H cam cover as you look at it is a small metal plate, this has the engine number on it. Hope this helps.
