resistor for my new rear led's
After the new ab exhaust tips, the only thing left were the led's to finish off the rear end. I couldn't justify the price of the rear led's with black inserts, so I went for the grey As I have an '07 model I needed the resistors so I located these bad boys:

I've seen a few guys having to solder the wires into place, which I though was a pain. The scotchlok connectors make the process easier and I've covered the connectors using waterproof tape. The instructions that come with the resistors are very detailed, so it's pretty difficult to bodge it !
I was thinking of color coding the inside of the lights myself from grey to black, but I may instead (very) lightly tint the plastic cover. pictures to follow when I've made my mind up:

Oh yes, and a security option so these bad boys don't get stolen. I'm gonna have to find a way of stopping these thieves from even being able to get at the screws, be it a regular screw or a security screw !Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.
DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights.
TO DO: color code sills and pillars.

Securing back lights
If you get some number plate screw caps/covers in black fit these to your rear light securing screws!!!

just an update...i was a little wrong when i wrote that i applied waterproof tape. it was in fact black electrical tape. so i visited b&q today and bought some 'silicone self fusing tape'...a choice that gets me sleeping better at night
the guy there asked me what it was for and we got into the area of suitable glues for the resistors. i'm using one that is heat resistant up to 150 degrees-c. apparently i should be riveting the resistor to an aluminium heatsink and then gluing this to the bodywork, does anyone know anything about this?Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.
