Lacquer flaking off wheel; warranty?

Whilst having my car washed this afternoon I noticed some of the lacquer had flaked off a wheel.
Should be covered by warranty I would assume?
I'll call dealer next week but wondered whether anyone had had this covered under warranty.
Car's only got 200 miles on clock so would like it perfect for a little while longer ( even though I've kerbed an alloy already Big Cry )
BTW the flaking is on a spoke so it cant be blamed on kerbing.

It would certainly be convenient if the wheel with the flaking lacquer is also the one you kerbed. It will be interesting to see what excuses they come up with for one affecting the other.

I know most are saying that the RRS is not too big for them (in response to my question) but those alloys remain vulnerable, especially when parallel parking or (as I found in my Evoque) negotiating the raised island kerbs in a congested petrol station. My impression is that it's a rare (FF)RR(S) which doesn't have some wheel damage. Mark

Unfortunately its not the kerbed one that the lacquer is flaking from.
I have to agree with you with regard to the alloys. They're going to be hard to keep damage free.
It is a big car and to me it feels bigger than an L322 that I had but having said that I don't find it a problem even though I live in an urban area. My wife on the other hand hasn't driven it yet as she is worried about the size of it!
