air con pump noise

i have a funny noise and i think its the aircon pump, do they make a noise when knackered

Unfortunately its not a good sign - mine lasted at least 6 months after I had noticed it becoming noisier.It steadily got worse followed by the amber warning light ( Topple Warning ) on the dash. Try this - Lower to access height - drive straight & turn left or right within 50 metres - if you get the amber light the suspension is not lifting quick enough - this is another sign of a failing compressor. Big Cry

think i have found my culprit for the noise i am hearing, turned out the aux belt tensioner is on the Censored so new one ordered
