I've had LR extended warranty for as long as I've had my RRS (3 years) and each year it has paid out more than it cost. Last year's cover paid for both turbos (plus loan Evoque for a week). The year before it was the rear diff and a couple of other things. Year before that, rear dynamic anti-roll bar and some small stuff.

Warranty direct is about £650 and covers up to the value of the car per claim. No brainer really. |

been quoted £739 for 12months however policy doesnt come into effect for 90 days so its a 9 month warranty in most case you pay then get reimbursed unless you take it to there authorised garage |

Nick- if you take a warranty direct policy out while your dealer warranty is still in force- you won't have to wait the 90 days and will be able to claim immediately. With a bit of haggling they'll extend it to 13 months too |

Not worth getting a LR policy if your RRS is over 5 years old. Take out a Warranty direct policy instead. 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography
